SUMMARY:Four students are required to stay after school after getting in trouble for different reasons. At first glance, Jackie seems like a typical popular girly-girl, Stephie seems like a shy studious student, Jack is an average jock and Stanton is the class-clown! However, when their teacher, Ms. Warren, discovers that they all have a lot to learn about themselves and how to treat others, each student goes on a journey of self-discovery. Told through the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Ms. Warren takes the children back to the 1950s & 1960s where they see the lack of acceptance, diversity and kindness. A story about believing in yourself, loving one another and acceptance for all human beings with an Original Book by Ethan Felizzari, Music by Vincent Donnadio and Lyrics by Vincent Donnadio, Matthew “Doza” Mendoza, Nicholas Camacho & Ethan Felizzari.
